The action is carried out within EU IPA Program for Croatia.
Objectives of the action:
Overall objective: To affirm civil society organizations (CSOs) as equal partners in ensuring open governance and transparency in managing public goods and natural resources in Natura 2000 protected sites.
Specific objectives: To build and increase the quality level of CSOs’ organizational structures by strengthening the network of CSOs and increasing their capacities and knowledge in responsible management of public goods and natural resources in Novigrad and Karin Sea area and to establish partnerships of CSOs and local authorities in transparent management and governance of public goods and natural resources in Novigrad and Karin Sea area.
Main activities:
– Strengthening of CSOs’ capacities through organization of educations, round tables and networking events
– Sociological survey on current methodology in information transfer in management of the area
– Establishment of cooperation between CSOs and local authorities through team building and sustainable management of public goods and natural resources in Novigrad and Karin Sea area.
